Before Appointment Prep
To ensure your lash extensions look their absolute best and last as long as possible, a little preparation goes a long way:

-
Arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes. No mascara, eyeliner, eye cream, or oil-based products around the eyes — clean lashes help the adhesive bond better.
-
Skip caffeine 2–3 hours before. Coffee and energy drinks can make your eyes flutter, making it harder for us to apply lashes precisely.
-
Remove contact lenses if possible. Bring your case and solution - your eyes will be more comfortable without lenses during the service.
-
Avoid oil-based skincare the day of. Oils can create a barrier on the lash line and weaken retention.
-
Shower and wash your hair beforehand. You’ll want to avoid steam, water, and sweating for 24 hours after the appointment.
-
Bring photos if you have a design you like - otherwise we will help you pick the best design that fits your look and needs. Whether you’re dreaming of natural elegance or full-on glam, we’ll customize your lash look to match your style.
Proper after-care is key to keeping your lashes full, fluffy, and fabulous for weeks. Follow these tips to get the most out of your extensions:
First 24 Hours
-
No water, steam, or heavy sweating. Let the adhesive cure completely.
-
Avoid touching or brushing. Resist the urge — your lashes are still setting.
Complimentary Perfecting Touch
At Lash & Body Studio by Sammi, we want you to love your lashes. If you notice any minor issues — such as a few lashes shedding too quickly or needing a slight adjustment — you can return within 4 days of your initial appointment for a free touch-up or fix. Your satisfaction is our top priority.
Ongoing Care
-
Clean lashes gently 2–3 times a week. Use a lash-safe foaming cleanser and a soft brush to remove oils and buildup.
-
Brush them gently every day — using a clean lash brush helps keep your lashes soft, full, and nicely separated.
-
Avoid oil-based makeup and removers. They can weaken the adhesive and cause premature shedding.
-
Skip mascara. Your extensions already provide volume — mascara can clump and damage them.
-
Sleep on your back if possible. Side or stomach sleeping can cause friction and breakage.
-
Be gentle. Don’t rub, tug, or pull on your lashes.
Fill Appointments
For consistently gorgeous lashes, schedule refills every 2–3 weeks. This keeps your lash line full and fresh without starting over each time.
